Can I reapply if my citizenship application is denied?
My citizenship application was denied over an issue raised with how I obtained my green card. There was no problem at all when I originally got my green card — this issue is only being raised now, belatedly.
I’d like to know if I can reapply for citizenship in this situation.
If you disagree with the stated reason for denial when reapplying for citizenship, you can still pursue citizenship again through reapplication. However, if the denial was specifically because of an issue with how the green card itself was obtained, reapplying successfully becomes much more difficult.
