If my child didn’t file for a green card at the time I applied
My children were minors at the time I went through the green card process. I obtained my green card in the U.S. first, but my children were studying in Korea at the time.
I’d like to know if it’s still possible for them to go through the green card process even at this later point.
If the dependent child was a minor at the time the parent applied for a green card, they can join directly as an accompanying family member through ‘Follow to Join,’ without going through a separate sponsorship process. The important point here is that this only applies if the child is a minor under 21.
