I have been maintaining my status by continually renewing the I-20 on student status. Will my low attendance affect my work visa?

Until you at least send in your I-485, please make sure no issues arise in regards to maintaining your student status, by unconditionally attending your school/institution for perfect attendance.

Despite low attendance, some may be able to suitably compromise under the cooperation of the school or language school and renew their status. However, problems like this could easily be exposed if the school itself becomes subject to investigation. We encourage you unconditionally attend rather than compromise with the school.
