In the past, I attended school in the U.S. without lawful status, and then went to live in Korea. Because of this, entry seemed difficult, and while attempting to enter the U.S. from Mexico, I was forcibly deported and sent back to Korea.
I’d like to know if I can obtain a visa and attend school again.

It looks like you’d need to file a waiver of inadmissibility, and you’d need to pass a consular interview at the U.S. Embassy in Korea, but given that this involves an unlawful entry attempt through Mexico that was caught, that’s a negative record that would likely make obtaining a visa difficult.
