Can I travel abroad after I-140 approval and receiving a combo card?
I recently filed for my green card and have already received the combo card. I’d like to visit Korea after a long time.
Can I leave the country right away without any problems, and will there be any issue when I return?
Regardless of what status you currently hold, as long as you’re maintaining it lawfully, you can travel abroad and visit Korea using the combo card. Even if I-485 is ultimately denied at the final stage, as long as your status remains valid up to that point, there shouldn’t be any particular problem with international travel in the meantime.
