Hello. One family member is a green card holder who is currently staying long-term in Korea due to health issues.
They haven’t yet filed to abandon their green card — I’d like to know what documents need to be submitted.
Also, they took out a Student Loan while studying in the U.S. and haven’t paid it off yet — I’d like to know if that could also be a problem for abandoning the green card.
