How long do I have to get married after entering the U.S. on a fiancé(e) visa?
My citizen spouse sent me a fiancé(e) visa to Korea, and I’ll be entering the U.S. soon.
I’ve heard I have to get married right after entering — is that true? I’d like to know the deadline for getting married, and whether I can proceed directly with a marriage-based green card.
You must register your marriage within 90 days of entering the U.S. on a K fiancé(e) visa. You then proceed directly with the marriage-based green card process.
