My girlfriend overstayed her ESTA period, and we’ve been living together since, and I’d like to help her after I get my citizenship, then marry, and resolve her out-of-status situation. If your girlfriend holds a visa, proceeding as the spouse of a green card holder is possible, but if F-1 isn’t available either, realistically there are two options.
