If, after a green card sponsorship petition (I-130) was approved, the sponsor later gave up their green card
My parents in the U.S. sponsored their child’s green card, but over time, they returned to Korea. Their green card is effectively surrendered now — I’d like to know if the child can still get I-130 approved and pass the interview in this situation.
We don’t think you’ll be specifically asked whether your parents are currently green card holders, or whether they live in the U.S. or Korea.
That’s a personal matter for the father, so it’s unlikely to be asked of the child directly.
