I’m applying for an E-2 visa, but my spouse and I have different nationalities.
Hello.
I’m preparing to apply for an E-2 visa. As far as I know, the applicant and spouse need to have the same nationality for an E-2 visa application — is that correct?
Can we both still receive the E-2 visa even though my spouse and I have different nationalities?
When applying for an E-2 visa, even if, for example, the principal applicant is a Korean national and the spouse holds a different nationality, the spouse can still receive the visa as the principal applicant’s spouse. In other words, yes, this is possible. Please keep this in mind.
