I’m worried a past school-record issue could make entry difficult.
I attended a program that later became a problem, and at the time I obtained my green card through a record of regular attendance.
I’d like to know if I’m eligible to apply for citizenship, and as a green card holder, I’m planning to visit Korea once — I’m worried about whether there could be a problem with re-entry.
Traveling to Korea and back should be no problem. However, if you’re gone for an extended period, please consider getting a Reentry Permit. As for the citizenship application, there have been cases of denial, so we recommend thinking it through carefully before deciding.
