I’d like to know if academic society membership is absolutely necessary to be approved in this category. I’m currently active in two domestic academic societies, but my membership has been suspended because I haven’t paid the membership fee.
Of course, I can reactivate it anytime just by paying the fee, but I’m debating whether I should specifically reactivate it for my NIW application.
