My green card is on the verge of denial because my spouse’s divorce judgment is missing.

But while preparing the documents, we discovered his prior divorce paperwork was missing, and received a request for additional evidence.
My husband says it seems his ex-spouse took the divorce papers to sign and never actually submitted them to the court. I’d like to know if an annulment would be possible in this case.
