My wife’s green card couldn’t be received by mail because we moved
Hello. My family all received our green cards early last year, but during that time we moved, so my wife’s green card couldn’t be delivered by mail. USCIS told us to reapply for reissuance through I-90, and we did, but it’s taking 2 years.
In the meantime, how should we handle a trip to Korea or renewing a driver’s license?
I’d also like to know if there’s a way to shorten the timeframe.
Hello. You likely received travel authorization when you filed for the green card.
You can travel using the travel authorization.
Many places will renew a driver’s license even without the green card card.
Please go to the DMV to do this.
