Process for a marriage-based green card after marrying a U.S. citizen in Korea
I’d like to know what information or documents are needed when a U.S. citizen marries in Korea and wants to sponsor their spouse for a green card.
I’d like to know how to proceed.
1) Be prepared, as you will be asked to document the U.S. citizen’s actual residence in the U.S.
2) You can submit documents such as a U.S. address, vehicle registration, driver’s license and auto insurance, a driver’s license, and bank accounts.
3) Many people handle this by either entering together visa-free or entering separately, and use that time to build up these supporting documents before leaving again.
