I have a prior record for domestic violence. I’m now at the point where I need to renew my green card, and I’ve decided to apply for citizenship — I’m worried this issue could cause my citizenship application to be denied and result in deportation.
I’ve also never been back to Korea, so I’m afraid I could even be denied re-entry.

It sounds like you may be referring to an expungement of your criminal record. Even if a record is expunged, USCIS can still access the underlying criminal record, so trying to proceed without USCIS finding out is essentially meaningless. Also, if the domestic violence incident was found to involve conduct constituting moral turpitude, that could be disqualifying for a green card renewal or citizenship application. Note that this could also cause problems re-entering the U.S. This doesn’t necessarily mean it’s an automatic denial, so it would be best to proceed carefully, one step at a time.
