Question about a way to live in the U.S. together with our son, who was born in the U.S.
Our son is currently 13 years old and was born in the U.S. (a U.S. citizen).
Our son wants to attend a U.S. university, and our whole family also wants to live in the U.S. As far as I know, once our son turns 21 he could sponsor us as parents, and afterward sponsor our 2 daughters. I’d appreciate any solution you could offer for our family.
Hello. If you don’t have another plan right now, sponsorship is only possible once your child becomes an adult at 21.
There’s no other special solution besides obtaining an E-2 visa and running a business in the U.S. That would allow the whole family to receive visas and enter the U.S. However, there’s a cost involved, and you’d need to actually run a business.
