Question about EB-2 versus EB-3
I hold a bachelor’s degree. I understand I fall under EB-3, but since I have professional work experience, I’d like to know if I could qualify for EB-2 instead.
Is any kind of work experience acceptable as long as I have tax filing records for it?
A bachelor’s degree holder falls under EB-3, and a master’s degree holder falls under EB-2. In practice, though, if you simply apply a basic formula to your experience and submit it to USCIS hoping to qualify for EB-2, it’s often not accepted. We recommend consulting with an attorney about whether EB-2 or EB-3 is the better path for you.
