Question about the citizenship application process
I’m considering applying for citizenship.
I’d like to know generally what process I’d go through from the very beginning.

Citizenship application procedure:
1. Complete and submit USCIS Form N-400.
2. Complete biometrics.
3. Attend the citizenship interview.
4. Receive N-400 approval from USCIS.
5. Receive a notice to take the Oath of Allegiance.
6. Take the oath of allegiance to the United States.
7. Surrender your green card.
8. Finally, once you receive your Certificate of Naturalization, you become a U.S. citizen.
