Re-entry concerns if I enter with an immigrant visa and then leave again
I entered the U.S. with an immigrant visa, but now need to leave for Korea right away.
I haven’t received my green card yet — I’d like to know if this could make re-entry difficult since I don’t have a green card yet, or if I need to wait until I receive the green card card first.
Check the validity period of the immigrant visa you received, and if it’s still valid, you can go visit Korea. You don’t need the green card card. If the validity period has already expired, then you should bring your green card card when you leave.
