I’m a Canadian citizen. I obtained a TN visa and have been working at a Korean company’s U.S. subsidiary since December 2024.
If I leave my current job and switch to a different U.S. company, do I need to obtain TN status again the same way as before?
Or can I, like a Korean citizen, get an E2 or H1B visa?

Hello. Being Canadian doesn’t make you different from a Korean citizen — the U.S. treats you the same.
So you can change status to E-2, H-1B, or any other visa/status within the U.S. Or you could go abroad and apply for that visa there.
In short, everything is possible.
