Whether a domestic violence matter could affect a citizenship application
Hello. I went through a trial for domestic violence 20 years ago. I’m planning to apply for citizenship, and I’d like to know if this could be a problem.

Since it’s an incident from 20 years ago and was already fully resolved, it’s not disqualifying for citizenship application, so you don’t need to worry too much. However, if it was a serious incident, a consultation would be needed.
