Whether cohabiting with my spouse after entering on a nonimmigrant visa could affect a marriage-based green card
I’d like to know if living together with my fiancée after entering on a nonimmigrant visa could have a negative effect on marriage-based immigration.
I’ve heard that showing up for a nonimmigrant visa despite planning to marry could negatively affect the review, but I’ve also heard the opposite — that evidence of an actual ongoing relationship works in favor of the review.
Could a case like this still successfully result in a green card?
