I worked for a year through OPT after graduating college.
Afterward, I went to graduate school and am now trying to use Day-1 CPT again for my master’s degree. Some people say this is fine as-is, others say it might not be recognized — I’d like to know if it’s possible.

If you used OPT for your bachelor’s degree, and your master’s is in the same major and you’re now doing CPT, this could create a status maintenance issue. In principle, this is allowed once per same degree/same field; if it’s a different master’s/doctoral field, it could be possible.
