Whether I can pursue a green card under DACA status after entering unlawfully by crossing the border
I entered the U.S. unlawfully with my family and received DACA at age 24, and have maintained it since. I obtained Advance Parole 2 years ago and visited Korea. I’m now considering marrying my green-card-holder boyfriend. In my situation, is there a way for me to obtain status if I marry a green card holder?
For someone who entered unlawfully:
If you obtained DACA status after entering unlawfully and traveled to Korea using Advance Parole, you can pursue a green card through marriage to a citizen.
If you marry a green card holder, you can pursue a green card through the waiver process.
