Whether I can visit Korea right after filing for my green card
I’m planning a wedding and may need to visit Korea — once my green card application is filed, am I really unable to go to Korea at all until it comes out? From a quick search, it seems like if I apply for and receive an Advance Parole Travel Document (I-131), I can leave — I’d like to know if this is nearly impossible.
Once your green card documents are filed, if travel authorization is issued, you can go to Korea. It’s not nearly impossible — with travel authorization, it’s 100% possible.
