Whether using the Grace Period leaves a record of unlawful presence upon re-entry
As an F-1 visa holder, after my I-20 expired, I used the Grace Period to travel within the U.S. and then returned to Korea.
I now have an opportunity to visit the U.S. again, and I’d like to know if staying about a month longer back then, which became an overstay issue, could result in my visa being denied.
Since you used the Grace Period, this is not added to your unlawful presence period. You don’t need to worry about this.
