A green card holder’s DUI record and re-entry concerns
I have a past DUI record. I’m planning to visit Korea — could this cause problems upon re-entry?

Media reports suggest re-entry issues are possible in such cases. Circumstances vary from person to person, so it can’t be said that everyone will run into trouble, but you should be prepared. When re-entering, please carry the court disposition record for that case in case it comes up during the entry inspection.
If the incident occurred before you obtained your green card, the concern is smaller; if it occurred after obtaining your green card, there is a greater chance it could be raised as an issue.
