Can premium processing still come back late even after I paid for it?
I consulted with an attorney and was told that with premium processing, results come back within 15 days, so I paid the additional fee and proceeded — but it’s now been over 20 days and I still haven’t received a result.
Even my attorney is puzzled. I’d like to know if it’s possible for premium processing to come back even later than expected. Thank you.
You paid the additional fee expecting a result within 15 days under premium processing, but it does occasionally take more than 20 days.
This isn’t your attorney’s fault — sometimes USCIS itself simply fails to meet the 15-day timeline.
