Can someone on DACA status visit Korea without a passport?
I’m on DACA status and at an age where I’d need to serve in the military. I’ve been unable to renew my passport (due to the military service issue), so I haven’t visited Korea, but now due to a family matter, I need to go to Korea and come back.
I’d like to know if there’s a way for me to visit Korea in this situation.
There is a way to apply for a travel visa and go even without a passport. However, please make sure to explain your own military service situation to the consulate so you can obtain the travel visa.
