Do I need to send at least $100,000 to get an E-2 visa?
I’ve heard an investor visa requires sending at least $100,000. I’d like to first open and run the company, and once it becomes profitable, switch to an E-2 visa — is that a viable approach?

An E-2 small-business investor visa doesn’t necessarily require sending exactly $100,000. There’s no fixed standard, since the required investment scale and costs vary by business.
