    In this case, since there’s no entry record, we recommend the following approach:

    1. Begin the green card process
    2. File for and obtain approval on an inadmissibility waiver in advance, within the U.S.
    3. Leave for Korea and then re-enter

    This is the process, and there are many cases of people who entered unlawfully from South America, married, went through this process, re-entered, and obtained their green card, and are now living their lives. Up through step 2, this can all be done while living in the U.S., so there’s no reason to feel stressed about it.
