I filed for a marriage-based green card and received a request for additional evidence. It’s asking for more documentation showing that we’re actually living together as a married couple, beyond what was originally submitted.
I don’t understand why I’m being asked for so much more than others seem to be. Actually, we’ve been fighting a lot lately and have talked about divorce — could that be why?
Could my spouse have submitted something to USCIS that’s causing all of this?
It’s quite possible that USCIS was notified of something, which led to this request for additional evidence.
