I entered on a 2-year E-2 visa from Korea. Recently, after visiting Korea, I received a 2-year I-94.
My driver’s license and similar documents are only valid for the period stamped on my visa.
Question 1. Does the I-94 have any significance?
Question 2. If so, can I renew my license?

Regardless of how many years your visa covers, your status and stay period within the U.S. should be based on the stay period recorded on the I-94 you receive at entry. For example, if you show a 5-year E-2 visa and enter, your status is typically E-2, and the stay period is usually stamped as 2 years on the I-94.
However, if your passport’s validity period only has 1 year left, you’ll only be granted that 1 year.
Your family can similarly renew up to the expiration date on each of their own I-94s.
