I’d like to know the process for receiving an immigrant visa in Korea after I-140 approval.

Once I-140 is approved, it typically takes 3 to 4 months. USCIS transfers the approved petition to the National Visa Center (NVC), and you wait for your priority date to become current, then receive Packet III from NVC, after which you file your immigrant visa application.

Once you submit the immigrant visa application this way, NVC schedules and notifies you of an interview date, and you go to the interview at the U.S. Embassy on that date.
