I’m planning to get married. If I got divorced in Korea, do I need to bring the divorce documents as well? I’m planning to pursue a green card afterward.

If you were divorced in Korea, you’ll need the divorce documents to prove you’re single. Since these are Korean documents, they’ll need to be translated and notarized before submission. Banks generally offer notarization services. Check a nearby bank, or a FedEx location that offers notarization — many CPAs offer this service these days as well.
