I’m a DACA recipient. I’d like to know if I’m eligible for unemployment benefits.

I’m a DACA recipient who was working with authorization and was temporarily laid off. Since I’m a DACA recipient but technically out of status,

I was planning not to apply if unemployment benefits count as public assistance.

I’ve also heard that someone out of status isn’t eligible for unemployment benefits, so I’d like to know exactly where I stand.
