After explaining the situation to my partner and talking with their parents, we got married on June 13th and are now preparing to apply for a green card. Due to the distance between the consulate and my residence, I’m worried I won’t make it in time to send the application by July 22nd and have USCIS receive the documents by then.

I’m worried about whether applying for a green card after termination would still be okay. Also, I have a prior marriage history in the U.S. (I married due to dating violence and threats. I was continually threatened using the green card as leverage, and ultimately divorced without ever filing for a green card.)
