My H-1B I-797A was lost in delivery
My H-1B I-797A was lost in delivery, so I refiled around October and am currently waiting, but there’s still no update.
I’m planning to visit Korea. When getting the visa stamp at the embassy, would it be okay to bring a courtesy approval notice from the company instead of the I-797A?
A letter from the company isn’t an official document, so there’s a high chance it won’t be accepted. To verify this, the airport is likely to separately require the approval notice, so it would be better to wait a bit, get it, and then leave the country.
