Is there a way for a green card holder parent to sponsor their child?
I’m the mother of two children who recently obtained a green card.
I’m looking into bringing my child, currently in Korea, to raise here in the U.S. I just got my green card — can a green card holder also sponsor their child for a green card?
A U.S. green card holder parent can process their child’s green card through second-preference family-based immigration (F2). Through F2, a green card holder can sponsor their spouse, unmarried minor children under 21, and unmarried adult children 21 or older.
