I’m going through an EB-3 employment-based green card case. I’m planning to prepare my I-485 on my own — what documents should I have ready in advance? Thank you.

From your local Korean government office (dong office), obtain a basic certificate (a record equivalent to a past resident registration copy), a family relation certificate, and — if you’re filing together as a married couple — a marriage certificate. Since these will be in Korean, you’ll need an English translation and notarization afterward.
