I’m going through a marriage-based green card application, and I now need to file a J-1 waiver.
I’d like to know if the waiver requirement is automatically excused once I go through the marriage-based green card process, or whether I still need to file the waiver depending on my prior status.
Also, if the waiver is denied, does that mean I absolutely have to leave?
