Question about the number of in-person meetings needed when sending a K-1 fiancé(e) visa
I was introduced by an acquaintance and got to know my partner mainly through phone calls, and we’ve now decided to marry.
So my partner asked me to send a fiancé(e) visa, and I’m preparing to do so. I’d like to know if there’s any problem sending a fiancé(e) visa without ever having met in person, and whether I need to submit supporting evidence as well.
Even if you decided to marry through a long-distance relationship without ever having met, you must meet in person at least once. You’ll also need to submit supporting evidence, or the relationship risks being viewed with suspicion as not a genuine engagement/marriage.
