**For divorce and conditional green card issues, please contact our civil matters department at T. 212-321-0311 / info@eslaws.com for more detailed guidance.**

You likely received roughly 80 days from USCIS to submit the judgment. If you cannot submit the divorce judgment within that period, your current conditional green card would be revoked and you’d be placed in removal proceedings. The best way to resolve this is to move your divorce along as quickly as possible. We recommend reaching a quick settlement in your stalled divorce process, but if the judgment still hasn’t been entered, it looks difficult to complete within 80 days.

If the divorce judgment has already been entered, to move things along your divorce attorney should be requesting the court to issue the judgment quickly and actively pursuing that — but if the judge doesn’t act, you may be forced to simply wait your turn in the queue for a judgment.
