Whether, as a green card holder, I can bring my spouse and children to the U.S.
I’m a U.S. green card holder, and I’d like to bring my spouse in Korea to the U.S.
Is it possible to bring my spouse and children to the U.S.? How long would it take? Or is a change of status possible after entering the U.S.?
There are two ways to sponsor a green card holder’s spouse: obtaining an immigrant visa at the U.S. Embassy in Korea and entering that way, or entering the U.S. lawfully and then changing status within the U.S.
