Whether I-485 can proceed after entering the U.S. on a travel visa following I-140 approval

I-140 has already been approved. I previously received a B1/B2 visa in the past — if I enter the U.S. on a travel visa, I’d like to know if I can proceed with I-485 in the U.S. without leaving for Korea again.

I’d also like to know what my status would be in this case, and whether I’d avoid being out of status.
