I have a lot of back-and-forth trips to Korea, so I’m thinking of returning for good. I obtained my green card under the third employment-based (unskilled) category.
If I find it difficult to maintain my green card and decide to give it up, will my other family members still be able to keep theirs?

Generally, the green cards of other family members (spouse, children) who obtained their green cards together with the principal applicant are understood to remain valid.
Even if a green card obtained under the EB-3 unskilled category runs into problems because the applicant didn’t complete the required employment term, we’ve seen many cases where this doesn’t affect the other family members, and we haven’t seen a case in the last three years where a green card was specifically revoked for that reason.
