Would my conditional green card also become void due to an annulment?
I married a U.S. citizen, and grounds for annulment have arisen — I’m currently going through an annulment proceeding.
I’ve heard that if the marriage is annulled, my conditional green card could become void as a result.
I’d like to know if my conditional green card would indeed disappear because of the annulment.
Assuming that it was genuinely difficult to maintain a bona fide marriage due to the annulment, and that you were a good-faith victim in the situation, I believe USCIS would decide based on whether they determine the marriage itself was genuine.
