After filing for a Reentry Permit, can I go get fingerprinted early?
After filing for a Reentry Permit, I’m planning to get fingerprinted right away and then leave for Korea.
An acquaintance told me in the past that you could go get fingerprinted early — I’d like to know if that’s still possible.
In the past, as an administrative convenience, they did allow fingerprinting before the officially scheduled date. But recently, due to COVID, you must go on the exact scheduled date. If the date matches but the time is different, they sometimes still accept you, but if refused, you’ll need to wait for your scheduled time.
