Can I still apply for a green card based on domestic violence while in removal proceedings due to being out of status?

If certain conditions are met, removal proceedings can be suspended. First, you must be a victim of domestic violence. Also, if you have no criminal record and have lived in the U.S. for more than 3 years, you can petition to suspend the removal proceedings. The immigration court can suspend the removal process and grant you legal status. This applies regardless of gender.
